About Me
I was born and brought up in northern Italy, and moved to the Waitakere Ranges, west of Auckland, in 1997, after spending the previous decade living in London and Tokyo as well as travelling in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
I have a BA (Hons) in art from the University of East London, and completed additional studies in Japanese and textile design while in Tokyo. I now work as a food and travel writer and an editor, and I am the Creative Director of Oratia Media Ltd.
Most of my free time is spent cooking, doing voluntary work, or with family and friends. Currently I am on the committees of the Slow Food Waitakere Convivium, and of the Dante Alighieri Society of Auckland.
